Originally, ROLY planned to design a sealed 3LCD light engine that would not require additional filters to isolate dust and environmental pollution. However, as the nearly year-long development process approached completion, they discovered that the closed light engine had difficulties with heat dissipation, leading to condensation and leakage issues. Consequently, the R&D team spent several more months successfully implementing an innovative fully sealed internal circulation cooling system, which obtained a national patent, making it the world’s first fully sealed 3LCD light engine laser projector.

 Currently, projectors on the market vary widely in price, ranging from thousands to over a hundred thousand. Naturally, their functions and image quality differ significantly. Consumers tend to choose based on their needs and budget, often prioritizing compact size, portability, and cost-effectiveness. However, these factors usually come with limitations in brightness and functionality. For users seeking bright and clear images, selecting the right light source is paramount.

Typically, projector light sources include traditional lamps, which have the shortest lifespan and are the least environmentally friendly. Additionally, their brightness diminishes slightly after startup and once they reach a certain temperature. LED sources offer stable brightness but tend to produce insufficient brightness due to their scattered light characteristics.
